This project aims to reconstruct an existing building by implementing major structural framework reinforcements. Construction works will begin shortly and will be completed 15-16 months from the beginning of the construction works . It's only five minutes' walk from Vas. Olgas Avenue in the city center, ten minutes' walk from the Metro station and a short stroll from the waterfront.

Being one of the eastern suburbs nearest to the city center, this region is foreseen to grow even more with the start of the Metro service.

The structure will include 41 flats spread across 5 stories with a loft. Every apartment starting on the third floor will have parking. The structure will include 41 flats spread across 5 stories with a loft. All units starting on the third floor will feature parking spots in the basement and on the ground level open area.

In the building only the load-bearing structure with the infill walls has been completed.

A study of the structural adequacy and reinforcement of the load-bearing structure has been carried out and will form an integral part of the building permit to be issued.

In accordance with this, samples have been taken for laboratory testing of the quality of concrete and steel for the building in question, and reinforcement tests have been carried out on elements of columns, beams and walls. The building has been assessed for its load-bearing capacity to meet the B1 performance level in accordance with the Intervention Code, as amended and in force (i.e. it is designed with the seismic performance of modern building codes).

Consequently, its load-bearing structure will be structurally adequate in accordance with the modern regulations applicable to the design of new buildings (performance level B1 according to ΚΑΝΕΠΕ Β1) and will therefore meet all the latest specifications to safely carry the loads for which it has been designed.

As regards the energy coverage of the building (energy class A), it is planned to use appropriate thermal insulation materials for the building, and in addition, special energy-efficient frames will be used, based on the KENAK study.

The heating of the interior spaces will be provided by an individual gas boiler.
